The Nissei RS-40 is a comapact SWR / Power meter designed for 140-150MHz and 420-450 MHz.  It is calibrated at 145MHz and 435 MHz.

Ideal for vehicle  / field use, it can be useful for taking measurements near the antenna rather than at the transceiver end of the feedline.  The RS-40 measures only 70W x 78H x 30D mm and weighs just 180g.

Suitable for up to 200W, in 3 ranges ( 15 / 60 / 200W ).  Accuracy is +/- 10% on the the 15W power range and +/- 5% on the upper ranges.  The RS-40 offers direct SWR readings for power levels from 1W ( no manual calibration adjustment required ). 

Impedance : 50ohms

Note: As this model covers UHF frequencies, we stock the version with type "N" female coaxial connctors.  We can supply adaptors if required.

The RS-40 is badged for MFJ as the MFJ-844
