POTA Vertical Coil

Tuneable coil for a POTA/SOTA portable vertical antenna.

This sale is for the "COIL ONLY" you can buy the Telescopic whip off AliExpress or I can supply them for $40 NZD.

The coil is wound an a 50mm ID thread cut high pressure PVC pipe Total OD about 63mm, the wire is 1.5mm 304 Stainless Steel, you will need to cut your own radials, I used 4 X 5.5 meter lengths but you might need to go a bit longer to resonate on 80meters.

Thread sizes are M10 and I mount mine on an old Surveyors tripod There are ground spikes on AliExpress also but like the Telescoping whips tend to fluctuate in price, if there is enough interest I may start supplying whips and ground spikes.
